Lychee Oolong Collagen

I ordered another bag of this during their summer sale and finally opened it. I noticed the smell was different (sort of sour or citrusy). Mixed with water the color was lighter vs what I am used to with the flavor. The lychee smell used to be very prominent, but this batch I received tasted more like an Arnold Palmer… no lychee flavor.

I have been missing green juice because they are so refreshing in summer. This lychee collagen protein is a perfect pair with that! 4” of cucumber, 1/2 a carrot, 1/2” fresh vinegar, one celery stalk, one handful of ice, 1 1/2 cups of cold water in a vitamix. Add two scoops of lychee collagen protein AFTER and it won’t foam up on you.

I love that the collagen proteins are a good substitute for clear protein. They are thin and delicious. I especially like that BTP did the work to add tryptophan so that they are complete proteins.

This is probably my favourite drink right now. I have this every morning, and sometimes even twice a day. It tastes so good, refreshing, and I can't imagine life without it anymore! I look forward to it every morning.

I feel this has also improved my skin, hair, and nail health, too!

I 100% would recommend this drink to people who like lychee and sweet drinks!

My only complaint is that the package is a bit too hard to open and it doesn't close properly.

I am completely new to collagen and at first I was concerned about the collagen taste that I had never experienced before. But, after about three days, I noticed that I no longer really noticed the collagen taste and I have been drinking it everyday. I find it helpful to stay away from eating sweet stuff while drinking it to avoid that collagen taste. I will definitely continue to drink it. I do feel that I have noticed a slight difference in my skin since starting this and I love that it has protein too. I typically put it in my blender bottle with 16oz of water, shake, then add ice and drink with breakfast. I am definitely a review reader and I spent a lot of time reading reviews before purchasing this product. If I had anything to say to anyone who is like me, it would be to give it a few days to adjust to the collagen taste before you write it off. Once you are used to it, you barely notice it and I think the benefits of this drink are great!

I like lychee enough to have it as a snack or flavor drink or topping. Just make sure that you don't bored of the flavor if you have the lychee flavor pre-workout before or after this. I had it after and it was a bit much on the flavor. Good but don't take it if you plan having the pre-workout flavor is you're not a big lychee flavor kind of person.
