Boba Bundle

TLDR; powder mixes smooth and tastes great, tapioca pearls take a lot of work to make (heed the preparation instructions!!) and the straw is a very nice addition to the reusable collection. This bundle is a good value for some great products!

Okay first off…. The powder (original milk tea flavor) is immaculate. It mixes well, tastes great, and it has none of that protein powder chalkiness or weird aftertaste. The tapioca pearls are typical tapioca pearls, go figure. They came a little disintegrated in the package (most were fine though). I cannot state how important it is to follow the preparation instructions. I tried making them in the microwave twice (pearls + cold water, turned to sludge; pearls + boiling water; didn’t cook long enough ( ~10 mins) and had hard centers but almost worked) and then finally sat down and made them properly and they turned out amazing! They don’t have much taste but they’re not supposed to, they soak up the flavor of whatever you soak them in (hence the brown sugar syrup).

Honestly will I buy the pearls again? Probably not. It was a lot of work for this overworked time-strapped college student, so I’ll probably find a microwaveable replacement in the future. Would I buy this bundle for the pearls, straw, and mix? Absolutely! I really like the straw, it’s a nice quality.

This is such a great product! I ordered their classic milk tea. It’s nothing like other typical protein drinks. No chalky texture or artificial tastes but instead it is identical to a boba milk tea drink. I don’t always add the tapioca pearls and it’s still 10/10. Seriously… this product is amazing. I can’t wait to buy more and try different flavors.

Boba Tea Protein is hands down one of my favorite protein shakes. You could use them in many recipes which you can find on their website. I can’t wait to try other flavors. Also, Customer Service is outstanding. They respond to your questions in a timely manner and address any concerns to your satisfaction.

I purchased the Honeydew flavor since it has always been my favorite flavor of regular boba, and this protein powder does not disappoint! It is remarkably sweet for having only 1g of sugar. The boba pearls take a while to cook on the stove but they have the perfect texture and take on a lovely flavor with just a little drizzle of honey. Everything incorporated very well with 2% milk without any powder sinking down to the bottom. It also does quite well to keep me full for most of the day on its own and has most definitely sped up my metabolism. I have also tried mixing it with brewed matcha and it also tastes pretty decent that way as well!
